The Second Moscow Watch Factory (short name - "Slava") - traces its history back to 1924 as a result of the merger of the Moscow Radiotelegraph Factory and electromechanical watch workshops. Already in 1930, the plant began producing running and outdoor electric clocks and alarm clocks. During the Great Patriotic War, the plant was evacuated to the city of Chistopol and carried out tasks on the front for those in need. After the Second World War, on the basis of the Second Watch Factory, the Chistopol Watch Factory “Vostok” was created, famous for its “Komandirskie” brand watches.
